Editorial policy
What we publish, where it comes from, and the things commission is not allowed to change.

What we publish
Two kinds of thing. Deal pages are read from what Hays Travel publishes: the price, the board, the nights, the guests the price assumes, the departure, the operator and what the operator says is included. We reformat it and we label where it came from; we do not embellish it. Guides and destination copy are written by us to help you choose between two places or two months.
What commission does not touch
We earn a commission when you book through our links. It is not an input to which deals we list, the order we list them in, or the way Top Trending Deals is ranked — those rules are published in full on How we work. We do not sell placement. If that ever changes, the module will say so, in words, before you click anything.
Facts, figures and star ratings
- Star ratings are the property class as rated by the travel company, not a score of ours. We do not host reviews and we do not rate hotels.
- Counts and prices come from the same data the page is showing you. A “42 deals” line is 42 deals we can render right now, not 42 we held last month.
- Real-world facts — flight times, typical temperatures, best months — are written by an editor, stated as ranges rather than precision we do not have, and reviewed annually. If we cannot stand a sentence up, we delete it rather than soften it.
- Entry, visa, passport and health requirements are never stated as settled. We name the general position and point you at the government’s own guidance, because we do not track the rules and you should not rely on us for them.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, tell us at [email protected] and we will fix it. Price reports are re-checked the same day. When we correct something material on a guide, the page carries the date it was updated.
Anything unclear?
Tell us at [email protected]. We’d rather fix it than argue about it. Anything about a booking — changes, cancellations, payments, protection — goes to Hays Travel, because they hold the booking and we don’t.
