Price accuracy
Every price here is a snapshot of what Hays Travel was showing when we last checked. Here is how often that is, and what to do when the two do not match.

How often we check
We refresh from Hays Travel every day, and a holiday is only shown if that refresh actually found it. When a holiday comes off sale at their end, it comes off ours the same day rather than sitting here looking available. That is the mechanism behind All prices checked in the last 24 hours, and it is why we state it plainly instead of hedging it.
If a refresh ever fails, that line comes down and the real time of the last check appears in its place — on every page, at the same time. You will never see a claim we cannot stand behind, and you will never see the machinery behind it.
What the stamp on a price means
Every price carries the time we last checked it. Not “updated recently” — the actual time.
- Checked in the last 48 hours. The price shows with the time we read it.
- Between 48 hours and seven days. The price still shows, with a stamp next to it saying it may have moved.
- Older than seven days. We stop showing the number altogether and send you to Hays Travel for today’s figure. We would rather show you no price than a wrong one.
Why the price can differ at Hays Travel
Even a price we checked an hour ago is a snapshot. Package pricing moves with availability: seats on a particular flight, rooms of a particular type, and the dates and party size you choose. The number on Hays Travel’s page is the one that counts, and it may differ from ours in either direction.
Our price is always from a price, per person, on the basis printed beside it — the guests, the nights and the board it assumes. Change any of those on their side and the figure changes with it. That is not a disclaimer; it is the honest reason the click-through exists at all.
What to do if they don’t match
Use Report a wrong price on the deal page, or email [email protected] with the address of the page and what Hays Travel was showing. We re-check those the same day.
We can’t change a price at their end and we can’t hold one. Booking, payment, changes and cancellation are all Hays Travel’s — see How we work.
Anything unclear?
Tell us at [email protected]. We’d rather fix it than argue about it. Anything about a booking — changes, cancellations, payments, protection — goes to Hays Travel, because they hold the booking and we don’t.
